There is all this myths about website development and search engine optimization that in order to have a truly successful website / business you need a ton of unique content and constant updates and tons of link building and all kinds of other seo... Well, of course none of that stuff will hurt to have and it can only help but it is not required. Just a silly myth. You can have a one page website setup with a couple of banners and you will do just fine. You can have a one page website with a few on-topic paragraphs and pictures and you will do even better. You can have a one page site with very little content and still make a lot of money and pull in plenty of search engine traffic. Yes you can.
So I was shopping around one of my adult domain names, MilfDVDs.com and got it sold the other day to a company called Live Interactive who will probably use this domain name to launch a new paysite for their SPAcash.com program. The milf niche is pretty big and popular.. So anyways, I was doing research on the "milf" niche beforehand because I wanted to see who owns the most milf domains, etc. If there was any one single person/company who owned the best milf domains I would want to approach them and offer the domain name to them. Those who have the most on-topic domains within any one niche are always interested in acquiring more of the same type of domains and increase their market share and control.
There wasn't a whole lot of the same people and companies who own milf domains... Nobody really "owns" or "controls" the niche. There is one guy though who is a professional domain investor who owns the two category leading domains; milf.com as well as milfs.com and I want to discuss the type of setup it has. The owner of the domains is Xedoc Holdings SA who owns many great adult generic domains such as pornstars.com lesbians.com hugeboobs.com bigbutts.com celebritysextapes and so on. Milf.com is the main site, milfs.com is a redirect.
Xedoc has always simply redirected most of his adult domain names directly to affiliates but a few years ago he setup one page websites on a bunch of them such as the current setup on milf.com and it is a very simple and straightforward reviews / top sites listing page which includes usually 5 - 10 thumbnails and a brief description of the sites that he is promoting. Nothing fancy about it whatsoever.. Most of domainers / marketers would look at it and be like wtf? This website sucks. Ok, but who cares.. It works! I wrote about this same exact setup two month's ago in an article titled: if it wasn't for those 20+ domain parking companies I wouldn't of been able to earn six figures per month... where I had the same exact setup deployed and it did wonders.
Over at milf.com this setup went live in 2004 (you can visit and look it up yourself over at archive.org) and here we are in 2009 it is still up. Why?! Because it works... Thanks to this one page website, the domain ranks in the top five results over at Google for the keyword search milf which gets millions of searches per month and draws in 10,000's of visitors daily to the one page website milf.com. Really. So what I am trying to say is that investing a little time in actually setting up a unique website, no matter what kind of website it is even if it's crappy... It's really worth it. You get instant control over everything and of course you can tap into all of the organic search engine traffic. Who wouldn't want 1,000s or 10,000s of free visitors daily?!
It is so simple to cash in on good keyword dot com domains... But many people don't do it. They just don't get it. I am sure Xedoc gets it, or some of it to a certain degree as I have seen him go out and be pro-active with text link exchanges and maybe even text link buys on some of the authoritative porn sites. All you have to do is setup a unique website, with whatever you want and take care of the search engine optimization part. From there on it is a done deal. The chase for content is endless. You can drive yourself crazy for many years by trying to acquire and put together all the content in the world and you still won't grow at the pace that you would like to. You need good keyword domains and the right search engine optimization to make it work.
Good SEO and keyword domains take care of like 75% of the work. Content and everything else is just a small part in the formula to ultimate success. Xedoc has many good on-topic porn domains. He links them up together at the bottom of each page and passes on link juice. Having domains such as latinoboys.com latinsingles.com latingirls.com latinsingles.com etc.. to link up one to another does a lot of good. All of your developed websites should compliment one another. They each stand to benefit from this a whole lot. Cross linking is a very good strategy. Just don't over do it.
You don't have to be a web development guru or some kind of search engine optimization expert to figure this stuff out. You build something relevant on a popular /in demand keyword domain, with search engine optimization in mind...and you will succeed. All you have to do is follow the basics. Parking domains is pointless and gets you nowhere. Redirecting domains directly to affiliates is kind of pointless as well. You should take 5 minutes of your time to setup web hosting for the domain, another 30 minutes to put together a one page site with some content / links and within one hour you can have an actual business up and running which will be able to grow organically and a way to monetize the traffic however you like freely.
The one page website has increased value for the domain milf.com exponentially --- without it if it was to be parked / redirected to an affiliate like the rest of all of the domains all this years... It wouldn't of had all the traffic that it has currently. The one page setup makes all the difference in the world. Search engine optimization helps out too. If you are serious about making money.. You need to wake up people! It's out there... You just have to get off your ass and make a certain effort in order to get it. Of course it won't be done overnight but any type of development is a process. It takes time. So what do you want to do... Sit on your ass and watch your traffic and revenues decline or at best stay the same or do you want to actually start growing your business?
Holy shit.. So all I gotta do is setup a one page website with some text and images and I can become a millionaire sooner than later? Well, no.. You have to work hard and earn it. Setting up crappy content on your webpage site that the users won't find interesting won't really convert into any signs ups/leads and if the users click the back button and return to the google search, which is where most of them find your site in the first place then google will drop you eventually all the way to #100 or #500 because you need to maintain certain click through rates and quality scores in order to stay at the top.. Yes in the organic search too if you didn't already know.
So this is how it works folks... It is pretty easy to make this work long term if you have good keyword domains, but you have to be willing and able to get to work. No parking program can help you or an auto domain mass development service. You have to have humans deploy this setup. Either do it yourself or hire somebody to do it for you. Simple as that.
