I've compiled what I personally consider to be the best-of-the-best in 7 different categories. The lists are put together in no particular order. The criteria I used to judge and make up the top five lists was based on the most accomplishments, popularity, quality of service, track record and so on. All of the individuals and companies below have done great things to further promote, support, grow and make the domain industry better in 2008 as a whole. Big congrats to everybody who made it on the list and keep up the amazing efforts and work into 2009! We got plenty more to achieve.

It is pretty clear who the top domain heavyweights are. As for the #1 spot for the most individual accomplishments of one single person --- the honors go to non other than Rick Schwartz who is one of the pioneers and visionaries within the domain industry from it's early days during the 90's. As for the company of the year it has to be Oversee.net who controls some of the largest domain operations and domain related businesses.
Both Rick Schwartz and Oversee.net were individually present the most times in the top lists which were carefully chosen from over two hundred professional domain investors and close to a hundred companies involved in the industry who were all worthy candidates. Once again congrats to all...
