Is domain mass development dead… ?

So I started blogging all about domain mass development quite a bit in late 2008 because there wasn’t much solid information available on this topic. Yes, development was a hot topic and there is plenty written just about everywhere you look but mass development is quite different. Not everybody can pull it off… You really gotta know your stuff if you are going to succeed. I am sure you all reading this are wondering… What is going to happen in 2011 as far as all this mass development goes.

Well, let me just give you a few examples and you can put one and two together and get the answer. I’ll start this off with Rob Monster from Epik. Rob’s been pushing mass development all day, every day for a while now. Ever since that whole thing pretty much went bust over at Monster Venture Partners (was it $7M gone or more? Don’t remember..) thanks to the development of premium killer domains that are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and maybe even millions.

So unfortunately the whole premium development thing didn’t work out for some reason after almost 2 years (yup, it’s quite a challenge and not easy… duh) and Rob has put all of his time, money and resources to mass developing as many domains as possible. Then we got Domain Holdings popping onto the scene which is working on some nice mass development solutions as well apparently.

Remember folks… It’s a numbers game. Simple as that. Nothing fancy schmancy going on. The more sites you got out there, the more odds are in your favor at scoring a lot more winners at the end of the day. I’ve been doing this mass development thing since 2002 now on a huge scale with tens of thousands of sites launched… 9 years going strong. You see all these other people getting involved, trying to make things happen. So is domain mass development dead or alive? What is to come in 2011… ? Look around you. Pay attention to the signals. Very simple.

It’s going to all taken over by google adsense for domains. You cant get indexed on mass development. The only people that make money are the developers of this… And that is ok because it is all fair game.

Some people are lazy and don’t want to develop. So this is for lazy people.. IT,s all good.

You will never find a real good one generic using this type of system… Anyway google’s new pages for adsense are looking really good

    • You are way off my friend… :)

I am not talking about crappy made-for-adsense sites created just for PPC. Quality can be mass produced too… DUH!
