Summer is over.. School's back in session... The girlfriend is getting her edumacation on while I am stuck here, doing what I do. So guess what guys, I am going to have a little more free time to update the site than I did the past few month's... You know what that means right? Yup... Get prepared to have your ass kicked all over the place!! With no exception, each and every one. I am coming for you. Yes all of you... Nobody is safe. I am gonna get ya good!
If you are new here or don't know me very well on a personal level.. You are probably wondering to yourself, what the hell??! You are gonna kick my ass?!? What.. Why???! How???! Let me tell you why and how because that is what I do and pretty damn good at it, and you should be happy to have gotten the privilege of getting your ass kicked by me... You found your way here, right? That means you got your ass kicked!! :) Anyways, just drop by every other day or so to read some of the stuff I publish here and you will be glad you did.
I know that I can be brutal sometimes with words and the stuff I put out there kinda hurts and hits close to home for some but please understand that it is all about self improvement here and taking your business to the next level. If you are looking for mostly all-is-well publications or holding your breathe for me to reveal some quick 5 step program to become a millionaire in one month, you are in the wrong place... That is not happening.
Look, I keep it real and will continue to write about both the good and the bad when it comes to domain investment, search engine optimization, proper web development, etc. It is all very important and must be covered extensively and whatever else is on my mind I will be sure to share with you without holding anything back. So you should bookmark this site and recommend it to all your friends too! Tell em "That genius 23 year old Mike Cohen really knows his shit and he doesn't waste your time with non-sense like 95% of all other blogs do."
Many of you don't know this but I've been kicking ass professionally for like 8 years now, and getting paid some good money to do so, my own special way which works great. It started when I was 15, working as a tennis instructor at a summer camp for rich brats. I was the only male tennis instructor there which was funny.. The other 8 were all girly girls so naturally I had to deal with all of the little 4 and 5 year old hard asses and discipline them accordingly if need be.
Before you know it, most of those hard asses begin to fall in love with you.. You show them the light and they follow you. By the end of the summer I had a few dozen parents of those little munchkins all over my ass, literally.. They were begging me to continue to work with their kids in private because they were having so much fun and learning a thing or two in tennis.. Improving big time!
It was really a no brainer for me, so I agreed and I continued to give tennis lessons to lots of kids and make good money in doing so... I kicked their asses really good on a weekly basis and they loved it, but the parents loved it even more. Their out of control little brats were coming around. Mike the asshole tennis guy was doing some really fascinating stuff.
So the next summer comes around and I get offered a job at a local country club down here in NY to work as an assistant for one of the pros there... I took it. I started working with kids who were a bit older who were into competitive tournament play and not just bullshitting around. Let me tell you... I kicked their asses so good that they hated me during the practice sessions but when all said and done, once it was game time.... They rocked and were as happy as can be with what we had accomplished by training hard.
I did the tennis thing for a couple of years.. Made some really good money towards the end. On weekends I'd make over $1000 per day.. Yes per day!! I'd wake up 5 am and be on the court by 6 until sunset. I'd hit up at least 3 or 4 different public tennis courts to meet with my victims and put on ass kicking tennis practices that you never even want to wish upon your worst enemy :) But to no surprise, it was a big hit and there was no shortage of kids wanting in on the action and their parents financing it all.. Everybody was introduced to me by somebody I had worked with already, via recommendation.
Now, this was all really before I even got involved in the domain business full time. I had to quit the tennis gig to dedicate most of my time and energy to domaining because the timing was right. Tennis was fun and exciting, sure! The money was really good too but it was all very exhausting. You are on your feet all day, out in the sun.. You are constantly yelling instructions and by the end of the day your voice is gone. Once your day is finished and you get to go home, you are dead. You got nothing left. All you wanna do is stay indoors and sleep. No time left to have some fun or even bullshit around... It sucked!
I realized that it was overkill and things needed to change so I switched things up by getting involved with domains ful ltime. I continued to teach tennis for some of my favorite clients only.. I worked with some kids as a travel coach and hitting partner as well when they needed me... Kinda did them a big favor and definitely not for the money as I was making much more domaining VS. teaching. Everybody liked the ass kicking and wanted more more more tho!!
You know... I still get calls and e-mails pretty much every month or so from people I worked with 5, 6 and 7 years ago. It is mostly mothers who had another kid, who is now old enough to play sports and they are looking to get them started with Tennis... They literally beg me to kick that little ass. Unfortunately I don't do that anymore and recommend them to give a call to a close friend of mine who worked for me when we were in it day in and day out.
Anyways..... The ass kicking stopped for a few years once I quit teaching tennis, but it has resumed as of late 2008 when I launched this website. It's still the same ol' in-your-face effective methods that get results, just in text writings communicated to a new demographic... Not on a tennis court but on the internet. So what do you say.. Shall we carry on?! I promise to do my part, now you do yours.. Come with an open mind and be prepared to work hard.
I am not here to waste anybody's time and I only ask one thing from you really...
